Liquids with the temperature of flash under 61°C, and a vapor pressure below 300 kPas at the temperature of 50°C belong to this class. Besides, they shouldn't be completely converted in gas at the temperature of 20 °C and normal pressure of 101,3 kPas.

To this class belong liquids and fusions with a temperature of flash above 61 °C, and also the solutions and suspensions of explosives in water or other liquids for the purpose of inhibition of their explosive properties. This class includes gasoil, diesel and light heating fuel, but also, flammable liquids which have significant toxic or corrosion properties.

  • Division 2.1: Flammable liquids which have a flash point at temperatures less then -18°C
  • Division 2.2: Flammable liquids which have a flash point at temperatures more then -18°C but less then +23°C
  • Division 2.3: Flammable liquids which have a flash point at temperatures more then +23°C but less then +61°C
